Is the Northern Premier League going to change hands?

Why, yes it is.

My first and main concern is that the new sponsorship may make the league sound a more humiliating one to be in. Unibond was OK for a league name until you realised they were merchants of heavy-duty glue or something like that. I just wouldn't want the new one to be something like "The Gregg's League." Or "The Caffè Nero League." Or "The Hello! Magazine League." Or "The Walter Wall Carpets League."

Or at the very least, I'd like to have a sponsor who doesn't employ hitmen to murder its trade unionists, unlike say, The Coca Cola League.
